Community Involvement

Meritus University participated in the 2009 Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni Golf Classic | June 25, 2009, Angus Glen Golf Club

The proceeds from the Maple Leafs Alumni Golf Classic go towards providing underprivileged children (8-14) a one-week summer camp adventure at Camp Maple Leafs. Since its establishment in 1955, Camp Maple Leafs has provided memories to over 30,000 children from some of the most economically disadvantaged families or who have a range of social, psychological and medical disorders that make them ineligible for attendance at other summer camps.

Meritus University is Finalist in New Brunwick’s KIRA Awards | April 27, 2009

Meritus University is a finalist in New Brunwick’s KIRA Awards for the categories of Most Promising Start-Up and Employment Growth.

The KIRA Awards recognize breakthroughs in the field of Information Technology across New Brunswick.

This year's KIRA awards will be held at the Delta Fredericton Hotel on May 7, 2009.

Meritus University president, Dr. John Crossley has been nominated for a director position with the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce. Members for the 2009 Chamber of Commerce will be selected on May 21, 2009 at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting.
